Recently Coimbatore city autorickshaws have started plying with meters. The fare is Rs.25 for first 2 kms and Rs. 12 for subsequent km. Great relief to all passengers arriving CBE.

This was too good to be true. The autorickshaws in Coimbatore have started their old irrational behaviour and have stopped taking fare as per meter. Call taxis are cheaper than autorickshaws once again. So sad.
