Alight here for visiting Tarkarli/ Devbag beaches(famous for watersports) which are 30 kms away.
From Kudal Station, take an auto rickshaw to Kudal ST stand and from Kudal ST stand, you will get State Transport(ST) buses to Malwan. After alighting at Malwan ST Depot, take an auto rickshaw to Tarkarli/Devbag beach.

waiting rooms are on platform #1. There is a separate ladies only waiting room near the gents waiting room.
The toilets inside the waiting rooms are OK. There is a separate gents toilet outside the waiting room which is clean.
The ticket counter is present near the exit on Pf#1.
Ample benches are present on the platform.
The other platform, i.e PF#2 is deserted and the lights on this platform are switched on just before the arrival of a train. Hence if you have a departure from PF# 2 at night, be seated on Pf#1 and after the announcement of your train, go to PF#2(via the foot over bridge).
The public announcement system is very good.
The auto rickshaws outside the station are available 24X7. They charge exorbitantly and hence don't forget to bargain.
