Traveled on 30 March, Shimla to Kalka, Engine Problem just 1 Km from starting point, train was taken to summer hill stn siding, it took the rail authorities 1 &1/2 hr to replace with another Engine from its base garage barely 1km away, reached kalka at 11.55pm. Passengers were seen tensed/running to catch connecting Kalka Howrah mail,
Compartment is old modified with locally made seats, roof leaking when rained. Catering very poor & cheap quality, cannot compare with Rajdhani as they announced.
Best to avoid this train on shimla-Kalka route
