I have Tatkal e-ticket wait listed no.2 the train has been dep at 12.40pm, can i travel with this e-ticket , other wise it may automatically cancelled...what to do i m confused pls help.my charting was done still wait listed no.2, but ticket not cancelled, how do i know my tkt has been cancelled...pls tell me...and there will be a major stn ahead chennai central arrived at 3.00pm..so can i get confermation on my e-ticket at there

Hello, Mr. Prakash. I remember you posting the same question and answered promptly and appropriately by Mr. Garg. Though I understand your anxiety, please do not congest the forum by repeating the same question via a new thread every time.

If your e-ticket does not confirm by chart, you CANNOT travel because the e-ticket that you have will be automatically canceled and money refunded into your account, so you won't be having any ticket in reality to travel.

If you have to compulsorily travel in spite of all this, and if you are not averse to traveling by unreserved/general compartments, then approach the unreserved counter and get an open ticket and board those compartments.

Please let us know which train it is and from where to where so it would be easier for us to suggest options.

DOJ? If it's today, the train has already departed from SBC and has crossed Malur, chart must have been done and if the status is still in WL, then I'm sorry you cannot board the train without open ticket. If it's CNF, no issues.
