They forgot to mention competition from Aviation Industry. Airlines are now getting Cheaper and cheaper. 4 Months before, no one can plan their trip, and by the time, they plan, tickets will be full. Suvidha/Tatkal Premium ticket fare goes like rocket, even airlines won't have that much fare. MAS-CBE Premium train 3AC ticket fare 3days before travel was 2xxx while 2AC was 4xxx, same time Indigo ticket was available for 2200. This is just an eg. Premium concept is good, but they should consider some reforms. They can't blindly increase fare and expect people to travel. Gone are those days, where people are not aware of flight price. Internet has provided more than what a passenger need. IR has to consider competition coming from Airways. Now a middle class family can think of flight travel if the trip is very urgent. They will go for it, rather than going in...
