Being one of the prestigious Trains of SCR and ECoR Falaknuma Express maintains good speed and punctuality in overall run from Secunderabad to Howrah via Guntur. The train runs with a reasonably good punctuality in Secunderabad-Guntur Strech and gathers an average delay of 10-20 minutes by arrival to Guntur. From Guntur to Vijayawada it makes a delay of 10-30 minutes as Vijayawada is a very busy junction and signal clearance and platform allotment takes some time.
The most delay is gathered in Vijayawada-Eluru Strech where delay in general will be 25-45 minutes. They delay continues upto Samalkot with out much change.Once Falaknuma reaches Samalkot, it turns aggressive and touches 110kmph which is considered as very high speed in that zone. From Samalkot to Visakhapatnam it Covers

all the accumulated delay and even reaches 5-10 minutes early sometimes. From Visakhapatnam to Brahmapur it runs without delay in general and in kurdha-Balasore zone it makes a 15-30 minutes delay and covers 10-20 minutes in last part of journey in Orissa and Bengal and reaches Howrah with an average delay of 10-20 minutes.

Samalkot-Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram-Srikakulam-Palasa-Ichhapuram it easily crosses 115 and touches 120 for minutes.Shows good speed in kharagpur-Santragachhi.
Check GPS speedometer reading sir in these zones.

if possible check the manuals of IR and see what happens if the LP exceeds even 1kmph extra than the MPS. no LP would to do so. and i stand on my words that it's a fault with the speedometer.
