Mean of a data set is the cumulative total of the given values divided by the total no. of values, it is a measure of central tendency
You cannot justify the value of the so obtained mean by performing a random experiment on any of the 365 days...

Hell, even if 0 passengers boarded the train from DHN today it wouldn't vindicate the aforementioned RTI mean.
You need a larger set of observations to nullify the deviations and in the process prove the data right or refute it as inaccurate.
