On date 23 Nov, 2018 the Hatia - Pune express which is scheduled to leave from Hatia station at 8 pm was detained for more than half an hour and it was made to depart from Hatia at 8:33 pm. This was done because 12 people who had to travel in this train were coming by Barddhaman - Hatia passenger to Hatia. But that train became late as the engine of a goods train running before that passenger train has failed. The passengers were asking the ticket checker about another trains from Hatia to Pune. The ticket checker on coming to know that they had to catch the Hatia - Pune express, informed the railway authorities. Ranchi railway zone then decided to detain the Hatia - Pune express till the arrival of that passenger train at Hatia. Hatia - Pune express left Hatia only when the passenger train had arrived at...
