It has been a year now that I have traveled to Ernakulam by train. I loved the Pune Ers Super Express: the time taken, the route and the beauty of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Kerala you can enjoy on the journey. Coming back to India for a vacation in December I will travel to Ernakulam once again to visit my relatives and am looking forward to my journey in the train. I still remember this particular train had no pantry then. We had to carry packed lunch and breakfast. After Panvel there is no stop until we reach Margao (Ratnagiri had a technical stop) and we had to carry water as well. Is this the same now? The train still does not have a pantry car?
P.S....
more... - Also I know after "didi" announced the train service it was not implemented until November and caused a lot of furor. The limited number of stops has not pleased many and there were also demands to increase the number of stations and to change the destination from Enrakulam to Thiruvananthapuram. Some memories related to the forum. :-)
