With introduction of this train, Mandya Mysore lost link to coastal Karnataka - Udupi, Kundapura, Kollur, Bhatkal, Murudeshwara, Honnavara, Kumta, Karwar.
I suggest that day time YPR Karwar express 16515/6 can be converted into a night train and run via Mysore with the same timings of Kannur express. This can run on the days when Kannur express via Kunigal is operated. This will provide a triweekly link to Udupi Karwar stretch. Also Mysore will get a daily train to Mangalore.
Opinions please.

MY SUGGESTIONS
1.Already a new train no 16595 has started from Bangalore to Karwar without touching Mangalore. It is a good idea.
2.Train no 16517 and 16511 from KSR Bangalore going to kannur 3 days via mysore and 4 days via kunigal should be made all 7 days via kunigal.
3.The slot of 8.30 p m from ksr Bangalore  via mysore to Mangalore and
...
kannur should be taken over by tri weekly train no 16585 to run via mysore which at present runs at 4.30 p m from yeshwanthpur to Mangalore and it should be made daily. It is a useless train at present for people going from Bangalore to Mangalore. From Mangalore onwards it should be made to run  in the timing of Mangalore to Madgoan super fast train no 22636 This train is running almost empty from Mangalore to Madgoan. With little time adjustment it can be done so that people from mysore  going to karwar,Madgoan will be benefited.
4 The 7 p m slot from Mangalore central to yeshwanthpur slot should be taken over by Kannur Bangalore train no 16512 and 16518 which any how is lying idle from 7 p m to 9 p m at Mangalore central and this should made via Kunigal.
5.The 9 P M slot form Mangalore to Bangalore should be taken  by tri weekly Mangalore to yeshwanthpur train no 16586 and made to run via mysore and daily. With little adjustment in timing The superfast madgoan to Mangalore  train no 22635 can be made to reach Mangalore at 8 .30 p m. This train can have bogies from both triweekly and superfast. People from madgoan reach mysore easily. (Superfast is running with 2 reserved and 4 unreserved sitting bogies. This can be split to half as there will be bogies from triweekly.) With this adjustment it will be a success story for all. It will go a long way and benefit everyone

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
