Absolutely perfect timing from KGP, am not calculating the timing in return direction, as when it will travel between ROU-TATA-CKP.
But in the UP direction its leaving KGP at 10:00 hrs, it will reach TATA around 12 noon and CKP at 13:00 hrs, ROU 15:00hrs (all appx.), many problems will be resolved is this becomes Exp:
There is no train to follow ispat, ROU-MOU-CKP pax goes to TATA for basic needs like Doctor Appointment, Higher Education, Coaching, Marketing etc. and most of them gets their work done in 1-2 hours or so and...
more... misses Ispat by few mins, need to sit and wait for ALLP that too less coaches (Gitanjali after LockDown, as ERS will leave in morning).
Secondly there is no Short distance train Exp type till BSP/R/NGP from KGP/TATA/CKP/ROU etc. There is a class of pax who will never take ITR Pass. and in order to travel to BSP,R,Durg,Bhilai,RJN doesn't get reservation in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad bound trains. I myself had to travel about once a year to RJN from CKP and in most cases I have taken South Bihar/ Utkal to BSP stayed one night in some relative's house and take the Raigarh-G JS to RJN.
Short Distance ICE lacks in TATA-CKP-ROU-BSP Areas, this will definitely help and timing is also good, this slots remain empty only for Goods, add 4-5 Parcel coaches ... both Goods and Passenger issues will be addressed.
And for all stop passengers, run few even smaller distance MEMUs.
