SCR is not giving any more preference to this long time, evergreen GODAVARI EXPRESS. If we see pattern, 12728 is always running late from the last 2 months,which used to be bang on time or before arrival date. Is it because of inception of Duronto? 12727 is also not getting any priority from section controllers. 12728 use to run aggressively between SC-BZA no matter it starts delay at SC. But now SC-WL and WL-Khamam section clearance became hindrance to the same run, which became a history now.WL-BZA section controllers are giving much priority to GT rather than GODAVARI. I suppose we may see new time table to GODAVARI from next time table.

Sir, As per my knowledge from Maps & live status running, Godavari may be late running but arriving destination stations viz., vizag / sec'bad mostly on time or 10 to 15 mins. late. preference is always been there for Godavari train. To the best of my knowledge this train covers the late run and when platform is not available due to 'automatic interlocking' system it is being delayed. recent days it is arriving sec'bad occassionally 15 minutes to 30 minutes early. but arrival at vizag is being delayed 15 to 20 minutes or reaching on time. not reaching before time like 20 mints. or 30 mints. early, just compared to previous months. But arriving before Duronto express. I am not sure how far it is correct timings shown in Maps& live status time table. i am explaining from that daily chart. i think you may feel happy and good after studying...
