Would you rename Bandra, Dadar, LTT/Kurla in Mumbai? Would you rename Hazrat Nizamuddin, Anand Vihar, Sarai Rohilla in Delhi? Would you rename Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru or would you rename Tambaram in Chennai? What about upcoming Sabarmati Terminal for HSR in Ahmedabad? Same goes for Kamakhya in Guwahati, PPTA in Patna, Hatia in Ranchi, Kochuveli in Trivandrum... All major terminals across the country...

If anyone wants to book a ticket, they're automatically redirected to the requisite station according to train timings and date or Dep/Arr... why unnecessarily do G mein ungal for Sealdah?...

Noone has problem with any of these stations aforementioned or with their names. In that case even Shalimar or Santragachhi also should be renamed as they are both in Howrah city area - what will you do now? You people can't sit quietly, can you?

This unnecessary renaming spree by Chauthi Fail politicians with the support of their fanboys are creating more trouble than helping daily commuters. Varanasi and Benaras... Two names - one old, one new - how to differentiate which station is which? How illogical or stupid does it sound when people say "Do Deen Dayal Upadhyay Dena!" or "Ek ticket Rani Kamlapati ke liye!" or closer back at home even for Metro stations: "Duto Uttam Kumar Deben Toh Dada...!".

Stop this madness, for the love of God. Let not all your parents money, time and efforts invested on your educational qualifications/degrees go to waste.
