They are just looking to maximize revenue where in possible but ignoring simple things even with normal SL class coaches now a days have become issue with UR ticket holders. May be thats one reason they are looking to cut down SL class coaches.
Even if you travel in JB reserved and if TTE caught you, you have to pay 15 rupees. But what about duranto. I think many won't dare to do it and Guard will take care of it.
Unreserved passengers in SLRD. in intercity trains those who reserved seats will sit and unreserved GS tickets sit or stand depending upon vacant seats and TTE is not even coming to check reserved passengers leave alone collecting Rs 15 from unreserved passengers. 5 to 8 yrs back TTE definitely used to come check and collect Rs 10 from unreserved passengers and issue receipt.
