Official notification by SER regarding introduction of train no. 18617/18618 Ranchi - New Giridih Express w.c.f. 12.09.2023. 03309 New Giridih - Ranchi Inaugural Special to run on diverted route via BRKA-MURI-TIS avoiding BRKA-MESRA-TIS (original route) with tentative departure ex. NGRH at 10.00 hrs. Regular service will commence from 13.09.2023 also on diverted route via TIS-MURI- BRKA avoiding TIS-MESRA-BRKA (original route) until further notice.

Hya wo to hain lekin Bengal mein politics ka ek chiz dekha hain maine ki woha pe MPs bohot united rehete hain. Ek jagah k liye dusre jagah k MP lobby karte hain. Jaise Birbhum region se BJP ka koi MP nhi hain lekin phir bhi baki jagah k MPs lobby karke naya train dila diya tha. Similarly proposed Patna VB mein bhi Durgapur ka halt nhi tha lekin Bishnupur k MP ne Ashwini Vaishnav se milke Durgapur pe halt dila diya. NJP VB k time pe bhi Bolpur pe koi halt nhi tha lekin inauguration k pehle Bolpur se 300km dur Balurghat k kisi MP ne lobby karke Bolpur ko halt dila diya tha. Isliye abhi Bengal se trains extend karna utna easy nhi hain. Last year Dubey ji Rampurhat superfast ko Godda extend karne ki kosish kiye the lekin Bengal lobby ne hone nhi diya tha.
