Election Result doesn't indicate anything about Railways.

I will support standardization ONLY if 4 GEN coaches are provided minimum, along with SL coaches of Adequate number. SL prices must be increased, I can easily say that 80% of SL class users can easily afford 1.5 times the present SL cost, let's keep the UR fare cost same for poor GEN public. Just look at TOD Trains, which are running at 1.3 times the cost, almost all of them go full.

I understand that AC fares should not rise as IR is encouraging people to switch to AC Class.Let's increase the Fares for all, & then reduce the AC fare to pre hike levels.LOL

Look at the cost of AC & non AC Buses in Mumbai, you pay Rs 13 for AC Bus, while Rs 10 for non AC Bus. Similarly, the Gap between AC & non AC fares need to be reduced. As IR is in loss, this Gap reduction will have to be by increasing SL fares & not by reducing AC fares. Lesser Gap will encourage more people to explore the AC Services which will be good for Railways and all of us in General.
