Due to ongoing track doubling work on the Mau-Shahganj route in the Varanasi division of the Madhya Purva Railway, several train routes have been altered and some trains have been canceled. These changes impact trains travelling to and from Bihar. The altered routes and schedules are as follows:

Amritsar-Jaynagar Express:** On March 13 and 16, 2024, the train will run on the modified route of Shahganj-Jaunpur-Aundhihar-Mau instead of the original Shahganj-Mau route.
* **04652 Amritsar-Jaynagar Special:** On March 13, 15, and 17, 2024, the train will run on the modified route of Ayodhya-Mankapoor-Gorakhpur-Bhatni-Chhapra instead of the original Ayodhya-Shahganj-Mau-Chhapra route.
* **15716 Ajmer-Kishanganj Express:** On March 14, 2024, the train will run on the modified route of Shahganj-Jaunpur-Aundhihar-Mau instead of the original Shahganj-Mau route.
* **04651 Jaynagar-Amritsar Special:** On March 15, 17, and 19, 2024, the train will run on the modified route of Chhapra-Bhatni-Gorakhpur-Mankapoor-Ayodhya instead of the original Chhapra-Mau-Kishanganj-Ayodhya route.
* **09466 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Special:** On March 18, 2024, the train will run on the modified route of Chhapra-Bhatni-Gorakhpur-Mankapoor-Ayodhya instead of the original Mau-Shahganj-Ayodhya route.
* **19165 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Special:** On March 17, 2024, the train will run on the modified route of Shahganj-Jaunpur-Aundhihar-Mau instead of the original Shahganj-Mau route.
* **19166 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Express:** On March 20, 2024, the train will run on the modified route of Chhapra-Bhatni-Gorakhpur-Mankapoor-Ayodhya instead of the original Mau-Shahganj route.
**Cancelled Trains:**
* **13137 Kolkata-Azamgarh Express:** On March 18, 2024, the train will be cancelled between Mau and Azamgarh.
* **13138 Azamgarh-Kolkata Express:** On March 19, 2024, the train will start from Mau and will be cancelled between Azamgarh and Mau.
**Trains Running with Delays:**
* **19166 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Express:** On March 16 and 20, 2024, the train will be controlled for 90 minutes.
* **15716 Ajmer-Kishanganj Express:** On March 19, 2024, the train will be controlled for 30 minutes.
* **14650 Amritsar-Jaynagar Express:** On March 19, 2024, the train will be controlled for 30 minutes.
