In West Uttar Pradesh, there's this city. It's called Firozabad. For the past 15 years, they haven't got a single new train to stop here. The last train was the Agra Lucknow Intercity, and it got paused while running. Since then, they have run more than 50 trains, but none of them had a stop here. In 2009, when the Member of Parliament cracked the whip, the railway officials had to stop the Neelanchal Express and Garib Nawaz Express, even though they didn't want to. But when the MP got busy elsewhere, they canceled the Garib Nawaz Express. Instead of running the Duronto, they canceled trains like Janata, Toofan, and Lal Kila. They didn't give a stop to Duronto or any other trains, but canceled four trains. On top of that, they also gave a stop to Neelanchal at Tundla so that when the opportunity comes, they can take away the MP's final trophy from Firozabad. It's sad when some people dare to suppress the voice of those representatives who raise the voice of the people. This right is granted by the Constitution and in most cities in Uttar Pradesh like Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Etawah, the story is the same.
