Kolkata Metro: কলকাতা মেট্রোয় সমস্ত করিডোরে চালু হবে সিবিটিসি সিগনালিং ব্যবস্থা

Kolkata Metro is implementing a new Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signaling system on its lines from Joka to Esplanade and from Kavi Subhash to Airport. This system, costing approximately 800 crore rupees, will enhance safety and flexibility in train operations. Similar systems have been successfully implemented in countries like Spain...

and Denmark, allowing driverless operation of metro trains. In Kolkata, while the CBTC system allows for Automatic Train Operations (ATO) mode, where motormen only control doors and departure, the metro is still training additional motormen and personnel for maintenance and potential future roles. The CBTC system is being rolled out across existing and new corridors, with a target to have the entire network operating under ATO by 2028. Kolkata Metro's public relations officer has clarified that no motormen have been removed from service due to the CBTC rollout, and that personnel are being trained for potential future needs.

Kolkata Metro apna Joka se Esplanade aur Kavi Subhash se Airport tak ke line par ek naya Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signaling system laga raha hai. Yeh system, jiska kharcha lagabhag 800 crore rupees hai, train operations mein safety aur flexibility badhayega. Spain aur Denmark jaise deshon mein bhi aise...

systems successfull ho chuke hain, jisse driverless metro trains chala sakte hain. Kolkata mein, CBTC system Automatic Train Operations (ATO) mode ke liye allow karta hai, jisme motormen sirf doors control karte hain aur train ko chalaane ka kaam karte hain, lekin metro abhi bhi additional motormen aur personnel ko training de raha hai, maintenance aur future roles ke liye. CBTC system ko purane aur naye corridors par lagaaya ja raha hai, aur 2028 tak poore network ko ATO mode mein operate karne ka target hai. Kolkata Metro ke public relations officer ne clarify kiya hai ki CBTC system lagane ki wajah se koi bhi motormen ko service se nahi hataaya gaya hai, aur personnel ko future needs ke liye training di ja rahi hai.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
