This may be useful for people who alight at Chnnai Central(MAS) in the morning trains and want to go towards Thiruvanmiyur/Velachery or towards Tambaram/Chengalpet.
Everyday morning(mainly on Mondays) I see many people standing in Park station and Park Town station in a very big queue to get EMU train tickets to proceed towards above mentioned destination from MAS.
Kindly note you can very well get the same ticket at MAS (MMC Building ground floor) which may save some of your time.

- Park station has only two counters and in Park Town station I used to see only one counter functioning.
But, In Chennai Central (MMC Building Ground floor) there are more counters and you can get the tickets soon (faster than in Park or Park Town)
and then move towards Park or Park Town.
