Howrah Station has facilities for trolley service to carry luggages by authorised personnel at a nominal cost [I was told some Rs. 35-40 is charged for a trip] although we didnt try as we had already engaged a porter. The Upper Class AC waiting room is small, crowded and dirty. Yatri Niwas rooms are generally not available and the staff are not helpful, either.
Travel SAFE
