Don't take food from ballarshah(unless urgent) for dinner. Try to carry food before the journey.
I second this tip. Nowadays you won't get anything good to eat Balharshah at all. And every stall is overpriced.

Now a days i use to book food from travel khana at BPQ , food will be great
I had a different experience on the 29th at BPQ (Balharshah) - was pretty hungry when the train pulled in to PF1.. Was greeted by piping hot Vada sambar for Rs 30(4 Pieces) - very tasty. You can also pick up veg meals or Veg/Egg Biryani.. Veg Biryani costs Rs 50/-. Washed it down with a piping hot tea.
