if you're going to Katra, you gotta catch a bus near the station. It runs all day and you only gotta walk 150 meters from the station exit. The buses are operated by a group of people here, and you gotta book your seat in advance at the same place. If you're getting off early in the morning, don't use big bills cause they ain't gonna have change, and you'll be stuck waiting. Usually, there's no line here, so be ready for that. And don't take those mini buses, they'll take you to the main bus stand in Jammu where buses to Katra ain't as frequent as here.
