Guys,
Yesterday i traveled from Hazur Sahib (Nanded) to Mumbai with this train in sleeper class.
Truly talking, .. Worst experience with this journey. i traveled standing from start to end even though i had confirm tickets with me.
There was no single person from RPF to complaint.. TC was also helpless while discussed this matter with him.

The same thing happened while travelling in Coromondal.It was overcrowded..we couldnot lie dwn evn when the train has reached BBS station(almost 10pm at nite) as people were sitting in our seats(Sleeper).We complained to TTE but he was giving excuses trying to kill time for the train to start from BBS and by the time it reaches Khurda may be there wud hv been duty swap.We were in a group and all of us united with other passengers and simply pulled the chain to stop the train as it started as half of us were on the platform then arguing.As chain pulled...immediately scenario changed...Guard, RPF, Asst. Station Master, Head TTE all rushed to the spot...the concerned TTE apologized and the compartment was cleared of unauthorized passengers(lot even w/o tkt) and finaly in started half an hour late.
Good - Very Good.
Yet, till some passengers are not united to face the administration, RPF, GRP, Officers etc. normally threat the Chain-Puller to face consequences.
You did a very good execution.
Sympathy for unreserved passengers may be there but in turn, they should not become DADAs.

Thank you Sir..At times some wrong doings(chain pulling in this case) are required to regularize bigger cause(clear compartment of W/O TICKET passengers)...rite?
you can go to consumer court. a similar case was won by a customer and railway had to pay damages. but be ready to fight.
Seeing the situation you were in, anybody would get distressed in such times. As crowds are rulling and running the railsways, some times we wonder there is total breakdown of Administrative Machinery, law and order situation is gone down the drains.
Even if you think of pulling the chain, as a last resort for your ordeal, you may face harassment.
If we complaint to higher ups they 'advise' us that you should have done this and that. But the time factor is the crucial , the moment is crucial when one needs...
