The best to have South Indian Veggie food is Kamat hotel. Right opposite to main entrance(on main road signal), in the corner, you can find KAMAT HOTEL. The famous Kamat Chain's hotel. You can have umpteen number of delicious items and worth of every penny you pay. Parcel up to have good food thru the journey.

yes i know...but it is not so approachable if you have sufficient luggage ...also traffic on that road is very high...
