I do not have any objection. But the thing is you will collect 10 Rupee as a platform ticket for that Strictly you have to check if you find any body has not taken put fine. This is not happening apart from Bengaluru and Mysuru. If you do like this station should be clean otherwise waste of raising Platform ticket price.

From Shivamogga to Mangalore Peoples are travelling daily for a business purpose, going to abroad its near to us and Going for Treatment in Manipal and Mangalore. Some People to visit Udupi Temple. Private bus available in this route day and night. Usually private bus always busy with passengers, seat available is not possible every day. They charge around Rs. 500.
Most of the people come from kerala for Nursing Course.
Middle class people going take treatment in manipal spending too much amount to private bus as ticket fare. Most of...

(SMET ) Shivamogga Station has Three Ticket Counters. But Operating with one counter always. Second counter open only in the time Bangalore intercity train and express train going time only.
Afternoon , from Shivamogga Town to Talaguppa and at the same time Shivamogga Town to Bangalore going train departure almost same time every day. There is a maximum number of passengers want tickets. Train Departure at 1.50 to Talaguppa and 2.00 to Bengaluru. Station is operating with only one counter up to 1.30 after 1.30 they open second one. Station Master not observing this I hope. Station Members are waiting for people should stand in rush to take ticket then counter will open.

If Railway Dept. Plan to introduce this line TALAGUPPA, SHIVAMOGGA, TARIKERE SHIKARIPUR, BHADRAVATHI, BIRUR, SIRSI, KUMATA, BYNDOOR, SIDDAPURA, SHIKARIPURA, HONNALI, SOWLANGA, People can easily Reach to Dharmastala and Kukke Subhramanya.
From CHIKMAGALUR to DHARMASTALA only 92 km.
People can easily travel in Train. Less price and More Comfort in train.
