This train has many halts but despite that, it maintains an average of about 50 km/h. The AC classes get filled up pretty quickly but getting reservation in SL is not a worry.. But SLs get packed like general coaches in rush period. Overall a pretty good train and maintains punctuality.
Best train for last minute reservations in AC classes in the ever jam packed Mumbai Kolkata section. Food is good (As per IR standards) and the OBHS Staff keep the train neat and Clean... Does take a longer, slower route but maintains punctuality and 60 kmph average is pretty good.. Should be one's go to train in this section for reservations before attempting for Tatkal reservations
