It seems like.. my ticket will not get confirmed. But I have to travel at any cost today to TPTY. Festiv coming. Can't afford going on bus( ~2k/ticket). So, I decided to board with a W/L ticket. Now, the real problem is I have a my sister with me (almost of same age). All i need is a a berth for her to sit atleast.
Please suggest a plan of action. Thank you.

How to approach TTE. Its not like.. here is 500 bucks and give me a sitting berth,i assume. How should I even bring up the issue of giving money?
WOW. Its almost 2 and IRCTC is still limping.. can't even get past the train selection. GOD HELP US. Really. Please god.

This is pure crap. There goes my holiday trip to home town. Every tatkal ticket to tpty completed in less than 15mins. Now.. every train has a CKWL of >40. Shame :(

Dear members,
I have a important journey coming up tomorrow.And I am planning to book tatkal ticket on IRCTC, at 10AM today. The trains will be rushed due to Sankranthi festival, in AP. So, I need tips to over come the infamous "server unavailable" error. Please post your suggestions. Thank you very much :)

Thanks friend. I do type fast. And have a 4mbps connection. But the damn thing always says, server unavailable. I usually close the browser and start a new session when It gives me unavailable error. Can i refresh the page when I gives me server unavilable error.

And it started. Not the reservation part, but the server errors part.
This train has a Pantry car. I am amazed that no one pointed it out. Please update.

Bros.. I traveled yesterday.. and Had a chance of eating very tasty samosas and a veg. bhiryani. And, if I recall correctly... It is operational every time I got onboard onto this train.
I even went to the PC and checked out the hard working chefs who were cooking very fast :D And some helpers cutting vegetables and stuff.

I traveled yesterday From TPTY-SC. And the guys are all over the coach from the moment the train left the TPTY platform. Samoas, Waterbottles, cool drinks, tea, etc.I took a Veg bhiryani packet at Kavali. It was hot and good. Everytime I board.. this train will have many catering guys selling all kinds of stuff.
Also.. please change the arrival platform at SC to 6A. They are not stopping this at 8, because it will be occupied by Tungabadhra Exp.
