Seems to be 17021/22 is up for Permanent Cancellation.
Train No-17021/22 ; 17039/40 ; 17419/20 are under suspension from Jan 9th
Frequency of 17039/40 might be increased to tri-weekly or 4 day weekly and can see a good speed up after the Link are discontinued.

Actually all trains in VSG LD section are under suspension due to track renewal works I heard from 15th Jan 2025. People are saying it's for 5 months but can't confirm as no PR by SWR on it yet.
But yes one day they will have to cancel 17021/22 to convert 17419/20 to LHB rake and frequency of 17039/40 should be increased to 3 or 4 days a week.

I had already booked train ticket in this train for Feb and when I check the PNR Status, it doesn't show any info about train cancellation. I havent received a message also from IRCTC. Not sure why SWR is not releasing press release when reservation shows suspended from 15th Jan.
