On friday 13th Feb, 16236 was diverted and I missed the information about it being diverted, and went to CRLM, to know that the train will go to Salem through a different route and I need to go to KJM. By the time I was nearing KJM, the train left and I had to miss it. Have applied for TDR, with reason as "Train diverted and not touching boarding station". My questions related to this are
1) Won't IRCTC send SMS notification to people who will be affected by change in route?
2)...
more... In such cases, how much will be refunded and how long does the process take?
3) I no longer have the bank account that I was using to book those tickets, and in that case, how and whom should I reach to get the refund credited in my other bank account?
