Travelled in this train today. there was no pantry. Compartments nicely done and the toilets are of very high quality.

PIL Against TVC Division -
Invitation to all Kerala express fans, to discuss what best can be done to save this train. To stop the discrimination of this train by TVC Division. To gather support for a PIL against TVC Division. Really fed up reading complaints about this train on various platforms. Rats, cockroaches, spiders, old broken filthy coaches and so on. Also discuss an alternative to Kerala express, like Dakshin for AP, and GT for TN.
Kindly feel free to leave your bad experiences on Kerala express, unbiased...

Everyone knows that once Kerala express enters Kerala, it runs as a passenger. But by saying this again and again, the problems faced will be rectified? There ought to be a solution.

We the customers or Citizens decide, not "they". They are just our public servants. Not at all a convincing answer that, distance is too much. It is the occupancy rates and patronage which matters and not distance. Kerala express runs with 100% occupancy rates all 365 days, as per RTI information received.

It is not the question of reducing stops. It is more than that. It is about bringing Kerala express to its original status and prestige, when it had only 5 halts in Kerala. No one will have a chance to complain, since the other parallel train will be a SF having all the halts of present Kerala express. That simple. Only thing now needed is a mass movement in support.
There is no other train on IR which carries fully loaded 48 coaches everyday for 3000 KM + with 100% occupancy rates, giving IR revenues in crores. So maintaining 7 rakes is a peanut issue and hence not a issue at all. While the 6 rakes run, the remaining one can be maintained at KCVL.

Seven. 6 running and 1 standing rake at TVC. Total 168 coaches. See the recent tender called by TVC Division to cover Kerala express with ADS.
Increasing speed in backward single track Kerala is merely a dream. Not feasible for another 50 years.

which myran is controlling dis trains run?It is always put in crossings.Only 2 days, dis train has started running.Even be4 dat fed of crossings.I think d railway r purposefully delaying dis train to reduce d crowd..........
This is what happens when backward Kerala has single tracks. Not only crossing, all other trains like Island, and Kerala are arriving late because they have to trail this crawling tortoise JS. Did anyone notice, why this train takes 1 hour to cover TCR SRR distance of just 32 KM?
