Pmail new TT is designed to run with LHB rake meaning it will hit 120/130 in permissible sections. 4. Still the running avg is 64 kmph which is easily manageable. 5. Now 11057 Pathankot will me moved to 00:30 dep ex CSMT (Pmails RS slot) .. So Pathankot will be Speeded up by 1 hr which is more than manageable. 6. 38 Pmail can be speeded up to arrive CSMT by 4:30 am just behind Pathankot, thereby allowing Pmail an easy entry into CSMT and ensuring that 37 dn will never get RS.

KRCL blocks the new train from Bengaluru to GoaKonkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL), headquartered in Navi Mumbai, appears to have blocked the introduction of a new train to Goa from Bengaluru. Although the much-awaited train service to the popular holiday destination via coastal Karnataka was announced three weeks ago, the South Western Railway (SWR) has been unable to run the service. Sources in the SWR said the Railway Board has instructed the officials to put the new service on hold. “As the new service passes via three railway zones, the railway board had conducted a joint-meeting of officials from different zones. non-introduction of service -- train number 06587/06588 -- is likely to embarrass both Suresh Angadi, Minister of State for Railways and former minister Shobha Karandlaje who had officially announced the new train between Yeshwantpur and Vaso-da-Gama, earlier this month. Many commuters were extremely happy as the train timings were convenient both for Bengalureans and residents of coastal Karnataka. Several associations including Karnataka Railway Vedike, Rail Prayanikara Hitharakshana Samithi and Kukke Shree Subramanya - Mangalore Railway Commuters Forum have urged the Railway Board to run the train. Some also wondered if KRCL is more powerful than minister Suresh Angadi. “It’s high time the KRCL is bifurcated and the portion of railway line that falls in Karnataka is brought under South Western Railway. The coastal Karnataka has been waiting for a train service with convenient timings for the last thirteen years. It’s unfortunate that one zone is blocking the service that would have benefitted hundreds of people,” said Krishna Prasad, a retired government employee.
I am placing my views here from what I have observed... I may be corrected if required : There are already lots of traffic to be manageable on a single track... If SWR is complaining for just one service that KRCL blocked owing to lack of running path then question surely needs to be raised on SWR politics.
is with SWR and How many outstation trains actually connect Vasco Da Gama, other than a few weeklies belonging and travelling to KA, in SWR, it just has a daily train to Delhi, one weekly to Patna that's it. Goans have long since been demanding many trains especially restoring those trains running in MG era, a daily intercity to Belgavi, Hubbali, a couple more passenger/DEMU services between Vasco and Kulem but each and every demand of Vascoites are being shot down by SWR citing operational constraints and guess what do they do with slots... Run more and more freights, use revenue from Mormugao Port in Goa and use these in Karnataka.
Why they have even declined offer to start Madgaon terminating running trains till Vasco Da Gama. For eg Extension of Mangaluru Madgaon Intercity till Vasco was declined by SWR. Just ask native Goans esp those who unfortunately fall in SWR stretch between Vasco and Kulem how desperately they need more services and how their demands are left unfulfilled and you will certainly feel that what KRCL has done is correct. Even with whole load of traffic in single line it's difficult to manage a new train add to it numerous festive specials.
Further we can also discuss how bus lobby rules SWR and how they do not permit running a daily Superfast over night train from Bangalore to Pune and Mumbai and that Over night slot is used by Bus lobbies. SWR is pro bus lobby and it's bus arm KSRTC has vested interest and that is reason you do not seen Superfast high speed trains between Mumbai Bengaluru. To sum up: The same day this news came which proved SWR just wants to run freights :

Train No. 51431/ 51432 Miraj – Londa – Miraj Passenger commencing journey from both sides on 28.02.2020, 29.02.2020 & 01.03.2020 will be cancelled."
So unless one cannot change their own ways, one cannot point others...
