Railway Junction Bus stand is just outside junction's entrance . All the town buses boarded here goes to Old Bus stand (Town Bus stand) through New Bus stand. Ticket fare is Rs.8 (max). Autos (not prepaid) are also available outside at nominal rates.

ARENCO catering foods are available from platform vendors. eg lemon rice, curd rice etc. I have tried both and they are really good. Food purchased at around 12 pm was good even at 7 pm in travel. Prices are nominal about 18/- or so. But the vendors try to fleece passengers.

I guess it is also closed or got struck in the renovation work on platform. During december 2015 i have walked to both ends of platform 1 looking for hotel tollywood or bollywood. Except a small platform shop that sells some varieties, there were no options for food.
Bedding packet with pillow and kambal was in place while boarding the train. Cant say pillow cover and bedsheets were good, but they were not bad either. towel was also in the pack and it was clean. kambal was also fine, no itching or rashes. (TD:29/01/2016 cbe-njp)

pantry is by ""meals on wheels". food is good but dinner may get little late.
this time i tried station food in many places.

A1 coach was a 2014 rehabilitated (if im right coach number is 98055). Curtains were clean , with all clips. coach was neat. no coackroaches or rodents sighted. AC was maintained really good. Never felt inhaling stale air or headache in 50 hrs journey. In all the four toilets in the coach the lower attachments were found dislodged from the toilet sink. so irrespective of cleaning the toilet appeared dirty. God knows when it goes for overhauling, gets noticed and repaired.
