If train is starting from Dibrugarh say 11.30 tonight and my ticket is waitlisted from NP which comes after around 12-15 hours after train starts.
Can you please tell me when the chart will be prepared? will there be sepearate chart for Dibrugarh station and NJP station??
Same ticket if i cancel now in WL status, how much cancellation will be charged? the train started from dibrugarh

Hi, can someone let me know where can i know this status of available seats before booking the ticket?
right now if you see below once i posted the pnr am able to see what are the available seat quota. But i want to know this before booking.
Is there any way? can anyone help? also should i cancel this ticket as only 4 avlbl seat the probability seems to be very low to me.

Sir ARP window me normal wala kaise pata chalega? normal ticket ka seats ka bhi toh quota rehta hai na? normal reservation AC3 ya sleeper ka

I know that waiting ticket gets cancelled automatically.

its already there Sir @SRG , I have booked 4 tickets 2 week back they were RAC 41 something, current status for all of those 4 is around 21,22,23,24 RAC. I am thinking these will be surely confirmed.
But the only confusion i have is one additional ticket which i booked in same train in morning today and it came as wait list 45. If it gets to RAC well and good, but if not this will be automatically cancelled as its a different ticket/pnr.
If this 1 remains WL we are fine...

ok, but if its RAC or WL we will come to know at time of charting na?
So in worst case, if its WL can we board the train and pay for WL ticket to TT and get the parchi or Ticket as WL from TT which will be equivalent to counter ticket?
He won't put penalty in this case?

okay guys, if you are also in trouble the process is changed now.
Earlier we could simply paste the pnr but now make sure you watch the video link they have given.
You have to go to official site on indian railway put the pnr and then get the status. On that page select all and copy the whole text and paste here in place of just pnr we have to paste whole ticket. So that is how it will be.
