Yesterday this train was having 200+ berths vacant in 3AC class. And as usual delayed by +3 hrs. This train demand is decreasing due to delay, and day time scheduled run. Why no one is accountable, and not taking any action.
Lot of reasons
1. No one will waste full daytime for 15-16 hrs journey that too on Monday morning.
2. There is no demand for 8 AC sleeper coaches in that route or intermediate station traveller can afford to pay high price and travel during day. 80% of demand is to Visakhapatnam who don't want to travel during day.

I totally agree with the reasons. But why there is no accountability for the delay?. Why it is happening for +2 years consistently? Why proper action is not taken in this matter? And who should be responsible?.

According to this Diagram , Pitline 2 of Malda Town Coaching Depot is almost empty now with many vacant slots as Farakka express is sent to Balurghat CDO.
Only rake of 03409/10 Jaipur spl /03417/18 Surat spl is maintained now in this pit that too in a single 7-12 hours slot as both trains are heavily late. So only 1 PM slot is used now after extension of Farakka Express.

You think we have around 40 trains to kolkata. Out of which 2 premium trains are there , so what's the use of a Kolkata bound train. If trains to pan india are introduced then load will decreased in Kolkata trains like 12307,22307, etc . It will benefit many people. So don't think that I am concerned about my own place, I always analyze different things before posting blogs.
