Passengers Committee has suggested either 12841/42 be given back to Howrah or shift 12839/40 to Shalimar. Committee also suggested giving good timings to 12840, 22826, 12664 & 12666 at Howrah.
12840 arrives at 00.30 am most of the times; 22826 arrives at 01.00 am most of the time. 12664 & 12666 arrives at 01.30 am most of the time.
Chennai-Howrah Train travel has been made a joke in last 3/4 years.

Shifting back to HWH? I'm expecting more services to shift to Shalimar.HWH is choked.
I think composition is changed to 5 SL from July or so for both this one and mail.
Shift out the Humsafar trains from Howrah to Shalimar. Bring back Coromandel & Jnaneswari atleast
Current Kolhapur SCSMT will be shifted out. KOP-KR Link line will be laid from outside KOP City. Just like what CR did with Latur. Latur NG station was in Latur City. After GC, Latur BG station was shifted 5 kms away from the old location. Alignment planned: - Rukadi - Kasaba Bawada (New Location for Kolhapur Rail Station) - Koparde - Kale - Panutre - Sheloshi - Gaganbawda - Kumbhajai Temple Road - Vaibhavwadi Town - Vaibhavwadi Road. 123 kms.
