Watch full video to know more about National Rail Museum...
Good place to know the info of IR from its history to future, lots of coaches and locos placed here, one can spent 3-4 hours to explore full Campus along with cafeteria and souvenir shop to buy Rail related stuffs like posters, key rings, mugs etc..

Take a bus from New Delhi (Ajmeri Gate Side) DTC bus 604 or 781 will be available after every 10-15 minutes direct to NRM which takes 30 min approx
2. Get down at NRM and you have to walk for few meters so open you google map or ask nearby as there are lots of Embassy, the route passes from New Zealand, Poland, and then Bhutan Embassy..
In front of bhutan embassy there is board for the way of NRM, it is just behind the Bhutan Embassy...
3. Entrance of NRM, buy tickets as per ur plan, i have taken 50rs entry which is compulsory and for rides you may take joy ride, toy train etc as rates were written there and i have also attached the rates pic as well instructions pic and full map of NRM... i have taken entrance and joy ride which cost me 70rs per head...
4. Checked you tickets, see the map of NRM, and continue from the right hand side not from left hand side...
5. you will see some locomotives and all the IR related exhibits,,, continue your walk till Indoor museum...
6. Enter in Indoor museum and then see the indoor exhibits, models, batches, and all the things... play games and watch videos too...
7. Take joy ride after this if you buy joy ride tickets, or toy train.. from museum junction for joy ride, for toy train ride go to just 20m more from museum junction at Bikaner/Coonor station... toy train as well as joy train both are good, one operates with diesel one with electricity via tracks...
8. after 1 round you may visit one by one to every real engines placed there, every coaches from different states of railway...
9. There is HO model trains with full big area where you can see stations, bridges, real model trains running and signalling too...
10. Visit to Souvenir shop for buy Rail Related stuffs like key rings, mugs, caps, posters, books etc
