In fact originally SWR has themselves proposed this train via MYS and then somehow it seems MYS division has some constraints and then it got routed via PGT. It's not much of benefit apart from providing an overnight option to ED, Salem, PGT and other stations.

Trains ko maintenance ke liye pit lanes mein station kiye jaate hain, jahan se train journey start hone se pehle leakages ki doubly checking hoti hai.
