Several trains have been canceled, including the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Gorakhpur Express (12531/12532), Lucknow Patliputra-Lucknow Express (12530/12529), Chhapra-Mathura Jhansi Express (22531/22532), Gwalior-Barauni Express (11123), Barauni-Gwalior Express (11124), and the special trains 04137, 04138, 04032, 04031, 14010, 15114, and 15113. Other trains like the Barauni-New Delhi Special (02563), New Delhi-Barauni Special (02564), Darbhanga-New Delhi Special (02569), and New Delhi-Darbhanga Special (02570) will be rerouted to avoid certain stations like Siwan, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Basti, and Aishbagh.

In my opinion railways should make future train sets with this coach composition 6 general class coaches including luggage loading capacity , 6 sleeper coaches , 8 ac class coaches ( which can include third ac or second ac or first ac or can be a mixture of these coaches ) and ( either 1 ac coach or 2 ac coaches can be removed to add pantry car coach and extra luggage coach ) so 6+6+8 total 20 and 2 electric locos ( 1 at front side of whole trainset and 1 at back side of the whole trainset ) so 20 +2 total 22 coaches , so that instead of giving lhb rakes to some trains which runs on a longer path railways should directly convert those mail or express or superfast express trains into these trains sets and cost of making lhb coaches will also be reduced or...

saved due to directly conversion of mail or express train into train sets and rake reversal time of many trains will be reduced wnd cost of doing rake reversal of a train will also be reduced ( due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) and speed of all trains can be increased (due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) . Please give your opinion on this but please don't give any argument related to politics so that my post don't get archived.

Or either railways can apply this coach composition in in some upcoming amrit bharat express trains so that we can see that whether this coach composition for train sets will become a successful idea or will become a flop idea.

I think that the train Number 12017/12018 should not reverse its direction at Saharanpur it should take the Tapri bypass.Unnecessary time waste 😔🙄😒

This is a legacy of early 90s. Difficult to remove major junction. This will likely be resolved after Deoband - Roorkee line opens up and a new VB express starts between Delhi - Dehra Dun (NDLS - GZB - MTC - MOZ - DBD - RK - HW - DDN). If tracks support, this may be covered in around 4 hours.
