It was also managed by a Train Superintendent for passenger amenities and complaint resolution. The introduction of the Tamil Nadu Express marked a new era in rail transportation, offering a faster and more comfortable journey for passengers traveling between South India and Delhi. The development of this express train was inspired by Japan's Bullet Trains and other high-speed trains in Europe. The Indian Railways aimed to increase speeds of express trains from 100 kmph to 160 kmph, leading to the introduction of the Rajdhani Expresses between Howrah-New Delhi and Mumbai-New Delhi, operating at speeds of 130 km/h and 120 km/h respectively. However, after the departure of B.C. Ganguly, the high-speed project was abandoned.

disruption will affect train travel between Agra and Gwalior, with limited options for travel to Dholpur-Hathumpur. Specifically, trains 11901-11902 and 11807-11808 between Jhansi and Agra are canceled from September 5th to 17th. The Kolkata-Gwalior Express will be affected on September 11th and 12th, the Khajuraho-Udaipur Intercity from September 5th to 17th, and the Gwalior-Sabarmati Express will operate from Agra on September 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, and 15th. The Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Agra Cantt Lashkar Express will only reach Gwalior on September 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th. Several other trains, including the Punjab Mail, Chhattisgarh Express, and various other express trains, will be rerouted through different stations like Ghaziabad, Agra Fort, Biana, Sogiria, Ruthiyai, Bina, and other affected routes. These changes will affect travel during the festive season and could disrupt travel plans.
