Builders are so easy go in Bengaluru that they build many homes and societies over raj kalave(canal), these canal's were from ancient Raj era, but eventually got disappeared how the city has grown with no strict policies in place and corrupt govt every-time. Same thing happened w.r.t the road building distance which you mentioned, which is another reason why we see delay in implementation of suburban project by almost a decade, if govt is strong why goons will come and pelt stones to the national property which is from our tax
