The residents claim they were promised a gate at the site when the railway line was built, but it was never constructed. The existing road connecting the village to the south has been divided by the railway line, and the residents now have to travel a long distance to reach their fields. The residents have appealed to the Dhanbad DRM and the Giridih MP for an underpass. They warned that they would be forced to take to the streets if the railway management fails to address their concerns.
