Hi all. I have booked this ticket 115 days ago. And now I have been informed just 4 hours before the departure of the train that my tickets are not confirmed. This is the state of our railways.the quota system and never ending wait list ruining the travel plans of so many passengers.there is no end to this
There are only big announcements such as clone train , augmentation of existing trains in holiday season. There should be a transparent system of berth and seat allotment. Reservation charts should be uploaded online so that every one can check how railways bypass every thing and upgrade the reservation status of who ever they like.

This being under PQWL stands the least chance to move up and get confirmed. Moreover it's holiday season and big rush in all east bound trains from Chennai. May be next time, when you book, please try to shell some extra bucks and book till Brahmapur which will get you under GNWL, thereby will have a greater chance to get confirmed.
