13238 Kota-Patna Express arrived at the Cantt railway station three hours late, reaching at 3:35 PM instead of its scheduled 2:35 PM arrival. Other trains like the 13010 Dehradun Express to Kolkata departed two and a quarter hours behind schedule, the 13308 Ganga-Satluj Express was delayed by five hours, and the 08104 Tata Summer Special was delayed by approximately eight hours. The Jammu Tawi-Kolkata Express, the Sealdah-Lucknow Fair Special, the Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Antyodaya Express, and the Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Begampura Express were delayed by 8.40 hours, 3.40 hours, 2.45 hours, and 3.25 hours respectively. Other special trains passing through Cantt from other major cities arrived with delays. Passengers took to social media, tagging the DRM and other railway board officials, to express their grievances. They reported overcrowding in coaches, water shortages in some compartments, and cooling issues in AC coaches. Railway officials attribute the delays to diversions and blockages caused by ongoing railway projects in various divisions.
