Mangalore Madgaon and Bhubaneswar Visakhapatnam are not even getting 250 travellers on all days. As Vande Metro is of 1100 capacity the numbers can't reach that number. They to be converted into Intercity express and also Tatanagar Bherhampur.
High time 22303/04 was extended to BSB, only then the 16 coach rake would do justice. 8.5 hr HWH - BSB (and back) would be pretty feasible. All that is needed is a little bit tweak in timings.

It's a pleasantly rare sight finding DDU locos not looking like they're about to fall apart.
I've grown up with DDU being our main boarding point. It was always a delight to watch the diversity of locos around the station.
But as much as I recall, MGS locos were maintained in good conditions be it electric or diesel. Sadly, I haven't seen a single well maintained loco after they switched to DDU, until it's coming from a POH.

From when did Bokaro become a part of the grand chord. Last I checked, it was from Sitarampur to DDU. Perhaps in your world things work differently.
