While slot is an issue in SA CBE section, an earlier arrival at CBE ensures this train's right time departure from CBE.

This train screwed by both sr and swr be it timings, skipping sbc or delay in sbc sector decades passed still no hopes

SR rejected SWR’s earlier proposal to receive this train early. Hence, this will crawl in SWR area
More than that, it needs priority. Changing the terminal will not reduce the delay. Already SBC has lost dedicated connectivity to Mumbai.

Increasing general sleeper is a good step in this train as I have heard that all the train will have increased general sleeper from existing coach composition from next three month.But one bad decision NFR done that they reduced 3rd ac tier and Increased Economy classes which shouldn't have been done it will cause some comfort issue with most long journey travellers.What they will do with 8 3rd AC coaches if they are reducing it ?
Plus the economy coaches which were build initially were more or less good. The modified or new economy coaches their quality of berths are absolutely pathetic. However both are not suitable for long distance travel untill unless one believes in sleeping only.
I don't think they are going to increase general. Sleeper increment is a welcome decision but this scam for people economy coaches is the worst thing that a train can have.
Might be but as per railway board direction NFR have to increase general also as it's not running with pantry car so current rake is 21 only 1 or 2 general can be added.And yes 3rd economy addition was not needed it was better to continue with 3rd AC only.
even i too have travelled in 12870s 3e coach it was even worse
is their any way, where we can know that how many passengers booked ticket in a particular train for a year or 6 months ?
