30-40 mins delay is understandable, but 4 hrs delay ? 🤔
18014 was standing at ADRA for more than 6 hrs because of this.
Can't 18014 & 18012 be de-linked?
Normal of 18012.
18011/12 is the primary service. 18013/14 is the link service between BKSC - ADRA.
To de-link, a whole new slot for 18013/14 will be required which seems indigestive from SER's perspective. Wastage of 3 Freight paths and what not...

I can understand your point.., complaining won't make a solution, neither the local leaders would be interested.
Just imagine the situation of 18014 passengers, waiting for 6 hours at ADRA for the other part to arrive. In that time they could have reached HWH.
If this continues for a long time, 18014 would lose its patronage in BKSC-ADRA section

Going by this attitude of zone this will the last train to remove link slip service
RB is squeezing SER to stabilize its operating ratio. And that's everything it cares for this zone.
They don't bother whether passengers' convenience are reverting to private transport or public. The numbers of capital investments must stay high in headlines, doesn't matter if at all it is benefiting the zone.

It's normal, may be a lot of freight trains accumulated at Kandra from both GMH and SINI sides.

Journey in one of the filthiest train I've been in.
A little bit of overview, I booked ticket in this train on 7th January and had a CNF seat. As circumstances had it, I canceled it midnight, booked tickets in LKO Shatabdi-BSB Shuttle chain for the next day. Canceled them both and booked again in the same train, now Tatkal, with a SU instead of MB.

These coaches were in a good condition till they were a part of BBS Rajdhani's rake... (can say from my travel experience)

PURI & BBS CDOs are infamous for their shady maintenance practices.
Not too long ago, even BBS Rajdhani had filthy coaches. Don't know the current condition too , been a while when I had taken a trip from NDLS to TATA!

Yeah I've traveled in them myself when BBS Rajdhani wasn't Tejas. The maintenance was decent, if not great. But this time, the whole train was filthy and almost falling apart.
Trains of BBS/Puri CDO and from North-Eastern regions are in extremely bad condition, in my general experience. Be it cleanliness or condition of the coaches.

Not only BBS/PURI, all the NFR based CDOs, too. In my own experience, in travel videos, everywhere their trains are in shabby condition. From Agartala to Dibrugarh to Bhubaneswar Rajdhanis.
Neelachal has been one of my preferred trains, and the SL coaches stink. But 3AC onwards, maintenance was quite decent. ODSK was a step further, not even H1 looked like it was in good shape.

Jab se Government Ara Junction ko jitna jyada develop kr rahi hai, nayi train ka stoppage de rahi saath hi kuchh trains ko Ara tk extend kr rahi hai toh Ara Junction aur jyada revenue generate kar raha hai..To government ko Ara development karna chahiye jaise
