The train can be ran as KSR-Vasco panchaganga express. It really need to be extended. Needless to say it would be a connectivity not just for Bangalore people but also for chennai people if we could catch this by taking intercity or something. Vasco is also in SWR so this train could be extended easily

Getting RSA is totally different. You can see many in that format. for Example in TN KL we have CBE NCJ ONT train RSA NCJ QLN passenger train. Nobody objects it but if proposal comes to merge both and make it as CBE QLN. It might face severe resistance. Same applies for Zone formats in operational issue. Chennai Salem we have lot of trains but Dharmapuri is just 60 kms from Salem. Just because of different zones i,e SWR and SR issue. we dont have single train Dharmapuri from chennai. Same type Chennai Chitoor we dont have single train even though plenty pass through kadpadi. SCR SR issue+ AP TN. Like wise panchaganga RSA can go as karwar madgoan/Vasco. direct merging might be tough. madgoan vaso how much SWR will accept is again question mark.

They wont understand. They want Mangalore to be treated right by SR and always complain about Mangalore being neglected by SR but they do the same for Vasco. If Mangalore has to join with SWR according to KA people, then Vasco also needs to be with KR. They are double standard I feel like

This has become almost the perfect train for Uttara Kanara passengers ever since it stopped going to MAQ and permanently got diverted via Kunigal. If only more coaches could be accommodated without hampering the timings.

There'd be more seats available at 16586 from Murdeshwar and 17310 from Madgaon, but most people would rather go board a train from Talguppa railway station instead.

Only meaningful alternative would be taking a connecting train with 16511/12 at Mangalore which would be slightly less time-consuming.

Wonder why there isn't similar demand like Panchaganga for 16515/16. It could be given a daily run and would help matters with getting additional infrastructure for KAWR.

At that time,LHB rakes were not in that much quantity.( if you don't understand then kavach system is a new thing, it is currently in fewer trains, but soon will be on most of the trains). Quantities in initial stage was not that much, only rajdhani exp got at that time. And in 2005 DFCs were proposed in parallel of golden quadrilateral. DFCCIL was incorporated in 2006. Now I don't want discuss more technical data, he was simply ka good RM.

If Lalu Prasad Yadav did not increase train fares during his tenure as Railway Minister. The current government should consider increasing the prices of train classes to mitigate significant losses while maintaining their availability, as removing them is not a viable solution, as evidenced by the disruptions caused by the rake standardization policy. This policy has negatively impacted all passenger classes including AC and non-AC.

If Lalu was unable to raise fares, why can't the current government do so? It is unfair to single out Lalu for not increasing train fares

this must be under Simhapuri and Falaknama not at Venkatadri , and venkatadri is running as a dedicated one and let it remain as dedicated mainly south bound towards KRNT,GY are limited to KCG itself. if shifting Simhapuri to KCG will in return creates unnecessary Blocks in multiple junction to join the main line in return slows the train even more. let them remain how they are now

If SCR also organizes Hyderabad terminals based on directions just like MS and MAS then you will understand

I don't care about any rsa with 12703. Only thing matters is, it should connect till old city of Hyderabad (mainly KCG/HYB or Falaknuma station)

When 12703 was started, its terminating point was Falaknuma Station. SCR doesn't understand this thing properly that most of the people need connectivity till old city. Everyone cannot change trains in between, or have to do expensive auto taxi. SC is already burdened with many trains.
