They're waiting for monsoon session of parliament to get over, or else it will give another point to opposition for attacking the government over, as so many rail accidents are happening and Modiji still choose to be busy over inaugurating Vande Bharat.(you know it will be inaugurated by him personally and also how many people in India opposes the concept of Vande Bharat as well.)

Indian Railways will have around 20 VB rakes to launch by August 15th in bulk. But, to protect against the image that they are not only patronising high end VBs, the government will also introduce 2 Amrit Bharat trains, Vande Metro and a Vande Sleeper, apart from inaugurating a train to Kashmir on August 15th as a symbolic patriotic gesture. The Kashmir train could be a VB....... All the routes are finalised and around 80 VBs are coming in this financial year in total as per production plan. So, we will have zero waiting for intermediate distance travel by the end of this year. A major achievement for IR
