Delhi Metro travellers faced a tough time Friday when a metro station was shut down for almost half an hour after a fire broke out in a shop within the station premises, an official said.
The busy Kashmere Gate metro station was shut down for close to half an hour following the fire. The official clarified that though trains were passing through the station, they did not stop there. "This was just a precautionary measure. No damage has been reported," the official post.
